Automechanika 2010

The Automechanika Shanghai Exhibition 2010 closed its doors. Automechanika is a brand of Messe Frankfurt/Germany for Automotive Spare Parts exhibitions worldwide. The Shanghai Show is the second biggest, after the original Show in Frankfurt/Main in Germany.

This year, on Automechanika (AM) Corteco was present on the booth of their Distribution partner Tongzhi/Shanghai with products, catalogues and staff. Together with the sales staff of Tongzhi we showed the value of OE products from Corteco and the opportunities to be part of our sales network to the Retail customers from entire China.

Additionally, as a start of their Anti-counterfeit campaign, Corteco participated on the booth of QBPC (Quality Brand Protection Committee of Foreign-Invested Enterprises). The participating members of the QBPC Automotive Working Group gave valuable information to the visitors about the consequences of using counterfeits. As an active partner with the QBPC, Corteco was actively supporting on the booth to bring this messages to the market. Corteco showed the example of a counterfeit Oil Seal versus the Original Oil Seal as samples as well as a leaflet and poster. The prints have been distributed into the China wide Distribution network of Corteco also. The resumee of this task from Thomas Schaefer, General Manager of Corteco China is promising: "The feedback from our Distribution network was very positive and many partners expressed their thanks for giving such a strong support against counterfeits. To keep the pace, we will roll out a nationwide Sales campaign for Oil Seals, including more activities against counterfeits and Trademark infringements. "
